Weathering steel plate 09CuP,09CuPCrNi-A and 09CuPCrNi-B is most common used in chinese weathering corrosion instructions.Also now more and more foreign customers learn about these chinese weathering steel grades and choosing them to replace the other weathering steel grades such as Cor-ten A,Cor-ten B,A588 Grade A,S355J2W,S355J2WP and so on.According to its higher welded points,here we also call these steel plates 09CuP,09CuPCrNi-A and 09CuPCrNi-B as superior atmospheric corrosion resisting structural steel.For the steel plate 09CuP in thinkness above 2mm, the chemical element Mn can reach till 1.00%.Also for improve steel properity,when rolling it can be added one or more alloy elements,such as V,Ti,Nb,Xt and others.
Generally the heat treatment for weathering steel plate 09CuPCrNi-A,09CuPCrNi-B,09CuP shall be under Hot rolling or hot rolled and annealing or cold rolling,Annealing have to be down when steel plate under cold rolled delivery condition.Also if it is agreed by both sides,the mill can do acid-washing after hot rolled for these weathering steel plates.Normally the low temperature impacting test for 09CuPCrNi-A shall be under zero centigree, GNEE STEEL also can offer under minus 20 and minus 40 centigree if end users required.
